Locally designed and environmentally conscious, Confetti proudly celebrates the beauty and vibrancy of 100% recycled plastic with refined forms and bold textures.

Material:
Upholstered commercial grade CAL 117 foam body and base.

Note:
For leather modules with an upholstered base, black vinyl will be used for the base. Fabric and non-leather modules will have matching upholstered bases.

Curated Upholstery Materials:
- Kvadrat Autumn: 100% recycled polyester
- Maharam Merit: 76% post-consumer recycled polyester, 24% polyester
- Kvadrat Canvas 2: 90% new wool, worsted 10% nylon
- Kvadrat Elle: 25% cotton 20% viscose 20% polyacrylic 20% new wool 15% nylon
- Kvadrat Zero: 65% cotton 20% polyacrylic 15% polyester

Designed by Gibson Karlo

Designers Sarah Gibson and Nicholas Karlovasitis established Design By Them in 2007 after graduating as Industrial Designers at the University of Technology Sydney. As co-directors and industrial designers, the two design products for Design By Them and have grown the company to include a curated collection of furniture, accessories and lighting from a stellar cohort of Australian designers.

Nicholas and Sarah believe highly in education, both previous lecturers at the University of Technology Sydney and are continuously involved in design panels and industry talks across Australia. They have won multiple awards, exhibited and worked on projects internationally, and have had their work acquired by the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences.

"We wanted to create a range of lounges that were visually bold, inviting and playful. We always felt that the speckled recycled plastic was a fun material and wanted to celebrate this."
