Originally designed as an all timber chair, the Them Chair is back with a new metal frame. The Them Chair honours the traditional form coupled with a robust, compact design. Designed by Sarah Gibson and Nicholas Karlovasitis.

Staying true to the original concept, the new Them Chair keeps its curved seat profile and sunken underside to house the chair frame – A detail that highlights the natural timber grain, adds strength and is nice to pick up.
Simple and subtle.
Them Chair's minimal curved backrest is inviting and super comfy.

Sarah and Nick established DesignByThem in 2007 after graduating as Industrial Designers at the University of Technology Sydney. As co-directors, the two design products for DesignByThem and have grown the company to include a curated collection of furniture, accessories and lighting from a stellar cohort of Australian designers.
