The Piper Range is the latest release by GibsonKarlo for DesignByThem. The design pairs indoor quality and charm with outdoor durability, creating a range that is visually light, distinctive and versatile.
The range is made up of chairs, bar stools and tables designed to complement each other with all products made of stainless steel sealed with a durable powder coat finish. Piper is made to withstand outdoor elements whilst providing comfort with its subtle curves.
"We wanted to create an indoor looking outdoor chair," says designer Nicholas.
The ability to integrate two colours into the chair was important to the designers.
"The contrasting colours accentuate the design further, the same way that windows and architraves are highlighted in buildings. It serves to frame the design," says Sarah.
Versatility can be added with fixed leather and fabric seat pads available for indoor or outdoor use. Both Piper Chairs and Bar Stools are available with or without armrests. Table tops come in a standard compact laminate finish and can be modified to suit your project.
Take it Outside
Showcasing contrasting elements of wire and tube, the design plays tribute to traditional chair forms, with its use of built-in seat pads and a distinctive frame that provide definition and flexibility for indoor and outdoor environments.
Bring it In
The Piper Chair's thick outer frame is offset by the thin seat pads, made visually lighter by the use of contrasting colours. The backrest and seat can be interchanged with various colours and upholstery finishes to suit your space.
Piper Tables are available in various sizes including small tables, larger dining tables and coffee tables for indoor and outdoor use.
