Minimal and tactile by nature, the new Oscar Keyring by Cat Yenn is made from 100% solid brass with a hand-polished finish. Neat and versatile, Oscar is bold, playful and utilitarian all at the same time.

“I wanted to make an everyday occurrence special, something elegant that could be thrown in a bag or hung near the door and, most importantly, not be forgotten. The loop proved to be super practical with its own free-flowing movement. Working closely with DBT, we refined the proportions until it was just right.”

  • CAT YENN

Cat is a Sydney-based designer, visual artist and the Marketing & Digital Coordinator at DesignByThem. Graduating in Design from UNSW College of Fine Arts, she has worked across a diverse range of disciplines including jewellery, eyewear and digital design.

Joining the company in 2015, she has had the opportunity to work with and be a part of the DesignByThem team on collaborative projects, campaigns, events and exhibitions that celebrate Australian design.

Curious at the subtle interactions people have with the world around them, Cat’s artworks are a graphic and abstract representation of the less tangible things in life. Structured whimsy frames her work as she explores ideas of connection, giving flat shapes depth and static elements movement.

Cat strives to create work that not only best serves its user but also keeps them in good company.
