We're Hiring: Furniture Assembler/Packer - Full Time

We produce original Australian furniture, selling mainly to interior designers and architects in Australia and Internationally. We continue to expand into both local and international markets and this exciting growth means we need to grow our team in our new workshop and warehouse facility in Yenorra.

About The Role


You will be part of a team in charge of coordinating the smooth delivery of projects and business operations. The role is a mix of working autonomously as well as closely with all other team members. Being part of a small growing business, you will be encouraged to suggest improvements and implement changes. We value input from all team members and enjoy working together to achieve our goals. The main purpose of this role is to assist with a mix of workshop and warehouse activities and help grow and develop our procedures with the production and warehouse managers.

Location: Yennora, NSW

$60,000 - $74,999 Full time


Core Responsibilities:

  • Furniture assembly.

  • Stock picking and packing.

  • Receiving dispatching of goods.

  • Assist with unloading containers.

  • Maintaining and organising the warehouse.

  • Pick up supplies, components & stock from local suppliers.

  • Organise and occasionally help deliver orders to customers around Sydney.

  • A forklift license is ideal but not essential.

  • Occasionally go to the worksites if required.

  • Escalate any quality issues to the production team and make suggestions.

  • Opportunity to operate CNC machine with training and to skill up.


Requirements:

  • Be an excellent communicator.

  • Organised with high attention to detail.

  • Ability to create new initiatives and implement strategies to improve operations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have good communication skills.

  • A consistently solid work ethic.

  • Able to work well as part of a dedicated team.

  • Ability to prioritise and multitask on a daily basis.

  • Valid working visa.

  • Driver's license a plus.

  • Experience working in the furniture, construction or cabinet making a plus.

  • Quick learner and open to further training and career development.

  • Down to earth, love a good joke and be ambitious.
