DesignByThem welcomes Mochi by Elliot Bastianon, a new upholstered range that embodies design as functional art. Contrasting soft forms with structural grid elements, each piece is visually engaging and inspires interaction.
"The meeting of soft and hard materials in sculpture is something that’s always resonated with me. Mochi came about from a desire to explore this relationship in a practical application and in a way that really emphasised the softness and tactile qualities of the upholstery."
- Elliot Bastianon, designer.
Locally made, Mochi consists of armchairs, lounges and booths that are eye-catching from any angle and suitable for living rooms and lobbies alike.
Mochi Lounges and Booths are available in standard 2.5 and 3 seater options with custom dimensions available on request.
Mochi Armchairs can be used singularly as a striking statement piece or paired to make a complimentary duo.
